Politiken has a long tradition of minimal yet impactful design. Their iconic typography and color palette are well established and instantly recognizable. For promoting Politiken’s collaborative membership campaign with The New York Times, we were asked to create a motion design concept that would breathe life into their brand type.
Our approach was built on rhythm and precision. Through match cuts and carefully timed transitions, the typography gained movement without losing its clarity. The result is a series of bold, distinctive visuals that stay true to Politiken’s design heritage while standing out in a contemporary, dynamic way.
